Welcome to AusWresDB.com, the home of JRH's Australian Wrestling History! My goal with this website is to eventually have information on the entire history of professional wrestling in Australia, up to the current day. I have attempted this project multiple times before, but this time I'm returning to the basics. Rather than trying to make a complex database or MediaWiki, this website is going to make use predominantly of basic HTML. I have taken inspiration from sites such as TheHistoryOfWWE.com, Bahu's FMW World, Puro Love & Puroresu.com when putting together this website.

In terms of plans for the site, the current goal is to have up-to-date and as comprehensive (as possible) event & title histories for every currently active promotion. I intend to work on this little-by-little, adding new promotions each week as they run shows. If the promotion is listed in the "This Week's Events" section, they're probably being worked on. Since some promotions have more than 20 years of history, not always easily discoverable, this might take me a while to complete. I don't plan on working on anything else until I somewhat achieve that goal.

Keep an eye on the "Updates" section to see what I've added. Keep an eye on the "Upcoming Events" section to see what is happening in Australian Wrestling this week. Inclusion in the list does not imply support of the promotion or the people they choose to book. All in all though, I'm very excited to be working on this again and hope to actually get shit somewhat done this time!
